Access to our publishing partners

Our customers include broadcasters, leagues, clubs and publishers. We hold the relationships and bring the opportunities.

Rich real-time configurability as standard

Styling, copy, content and languages are controlled in Studio, so one game runs for different brands and sponsors without a rebuild.

Fewer things to build

Trivia, predictors, polls, voting and a variety of game engines run on the platform with the option for you to BYO backend subject to approval.

Support that meets the bar

We help you reach the standards our partners expect, we handle first-line support, and manage the commercial relationship.

You build the frontend once and integrate with the platform using a range of skills and CLI tools for agent-guided development. The partner’s content team optionally provides ongoing content if required. You ensure all copy, styling and localisation is included so that games can be replicated in their environments without a release from you.

Timing, questions, content and results live in the App Spec. Anything a customer might need to change is configured here rather than hardcoded in your build.

Featured partner: Wave

Wave built Blast, a match-3 game for a major sports league, delivered through Monterosa. It lived inside the league’s own digital hub.

Gameplay requires account creation, so every session feeds sign-ups. It runs across 40 levels, on a mechanic every fan already knows. Wave reports thousands of new registrations, and fans who come back to beat their score.

Three types of backend engine

Three types of backend engine

Three types of backend engine

Core Monterosa Elements

Your mechanic maps to an Element: trivia, prediction, poll or vote. You build the frontend only, those Elements give you secure results and aggregated data.

Gamestage Engines

You need server-owned answers, scoring, attempt limits or settlement. An Engine holds the rules. This is a Monterosa product.

BYO Backend

You may have a backend that has to stay in the stack. Reviewed case by case, with load test and penetration test evidence. This may not be accepted by all customers.

Meeting standards

Meeting standards

Meeting standards

Standards and requirements will vary per app. Every app on the platform meets the same high bar. You’ll need to invest time to evidence these before launch.

Scale

Scale

A game offered to any customer handles at least 100,000 actual concurrent players, evidenced by accurate load test results.

Configurability

Configurability

Styling, copy and content configurable through the Monterosa App Spec, with localisation and configurability. Nothing a customer might need to change is hardcoded.

Security

Security

Results always decided server-side with no secrets or judgements made in the client. Code security scanned before it reaches a customer.

Privacy

Privacy

Collect only what the experience needs. No personal data in logs. Declared retention, and a data processing agreement where the partner holds fan data.

Consent

Consent

The SDK passes a consent signal and it is binding. Without consent: no cookies, no tracking, no personal data.

Monetisation

Monetisation

Advertising, sponsorship and payments are declared and approved before launch, and do not change without approval. You may need to include support for the customer’s ad server and tracking.

Maintenance and exit

A runbook, named contacts and an out-of-hours escalation route. You’ll make commitments to fix bugs and address issues. On exit, fan and customer data is returned or deleted within 30 days, confirmed in writing.
